There are so many wrongs in this world, it is easy to feel paralyzed by the obesity of inequality. Hopelessness attempts to set as the weight pulls us down. We wonder: if the Mayans are right, what is the point of change?

This year I have made a conscious effort to take a different tactic. I will still dream big, hope that it is possible to make the world a better place, but I will take small steps. Just as I have taken many small steps as I’ve walked from Washington, D.C. to Wichita; I will take small steps every day toward change.

And so, this post is what it is: short, sweet, and to the point. Are you ready to start walking? I am.
